The Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking a full-time, energetic and caring Specialized Assistant to work with elementary and middle school students who have unique academic, behavioral, and/or emotional needs. The Specialized Assistant will work in our elementary and middle schools to provide assistance to special educators and classroom teachers and perform a variety of supportive activities with a diverse population of students. 

Qualified candidates should be flexible, enjoy working with and engaging with students, have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Strengths must include the ability to build and foster positive rapport with students, families, and colleagues. Candidates must be reliable, have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods of time to support students.
